McCain恭賀Obama獲得提名

今天是Obama接受民主黨提名的日子。想不到剛剛看到了CNN播放了McCain的一個廣告。

這個廣告很簡單，就只有McCain一個人，就像是對著老朋友說話一樣。

廣告全文如下，
"Senator Obama, this is truly a good day for America.

You know too often the achievement of our opponent go unnoticed. But I'd like to say congratulations, how perfect your nominations would come in this historical day.

Tomorrow we will be back at it, but tonight senator, your job well done. "

(歐巴馬參議員，今天的確是美國美好的一天。

你知道我們常常忽視對手的成就，不過我要恭喜你，因為你在這歷史性的一天中獲得了這個提名。

明天我們又要開始競爭。不過參議員，今晚，你做的真好。)

我相當喜歡這個廣告。不論競爭多激烈，依舊不忘讚美對手的成就，這是相當了不起的行為，就像Obama在演說中始終不忘讚揚McCain越戰的經歷一樣，總是在激烈的選戰中帶來些許的人性溫暖。
