Down by the Salley Gardens, by William Butler Yeats

我第一次聽到這首歌曲，是由假聲男高音Andreas Scholl演唱，吉他演奏家John Williams伴奏的版本，於2005年的Last Night of Proms的演出版本。

嚴格說起來，這首詩是被改編成愛爾蘭民謠。但是不同的演唱者就有不同的風格。像這邊演出的版本(Scholl/Williams)，就是用古典的聲樂演唱法來演出的，跟用民謠式的演唱法就是完全兩樣。

後來學弟又多附贈一個由超級瑞典男高音Nicolai Gedda演唱的版本。雖說Gedda是正統派的男高音，不過這邊聽起來，他的唱法比較接近一般的民歌手。

這首曲子是少數我一聽就很有印象的曲子。事隔多年，終於在youtube上再次發現。
